Timewarp bellyboards require very little care because the are made from high quality marine ply. However if you want to keep your board looking good and in tip top condition an occasional application of BOILED (not raw) linseed oil is all that is required.
First ensure your board is thoroughly dry (at least 2 weeks in a dry airy room). Sand any rough areas with 240 grit sandpaper then apply a liberal coat of oil. Stand upright on a piece of plastic sheet to dry.
Leave overnight and then wipe off any excess oil with a lint free cloth or paper towel. Leave for 24 hours then buff with a clean cloth.
SAFETY OILY CLOTH CAN SPONTANEOUSLY COMBUST UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS FOLLOW THE GUIDELINES ON THE OIL PRODUCT FOR CORRECT DISPOSAL OF CLOTHS AND USE OF APPROPRIATE PPE.
